Jeff: You are correct.
The largest dots are Tier 3, the middle dots Tier 2, and the teeny dots Tier 1. Solid lines have a linked processor. Dotted lines are producer-only.

The processor line is stand-alone processors only (with no linked producer).

Hope that makes it more clear.
