Enjoyed your ironic sense of humor too! We are in a truly black time in the WA state cannabis family. The LCB, through backward, short- sighted regulation has pitted retail and medical against each other. It’s absolutely absurd! At a minimum, all WA state citizens who receive health benefits from the use of cannabis, AKA patients, should have ample access to cannabis, in whatever form or dose necessary for that individual. #HEALTHBEFOREWEALTH

I say: stop making it so damn difficult for medicinal users to have access to this miracle plant, this non-toxic plant should be freely available to anyone who needs it medicinally, regardless of age; and freely available for recreational use to
everyone over the age of 16. It has no serious side effects, ingestion of it has never killed or harmed anyone in the entire history of its use which is MUCH longer than the 2700 years mentioned in the article above. In fact there are records of its use going back as far as 10,000 years and knowledge of it and its common use as a food, medicine and intoxicant could well go a lot further back in time than that, since our bodies seem to have evolved alongside it, having cannabinoid receptors all throughout our bodies, and endogenous cannabinoids regulating EVERY single system within our bodies, keeping us healthy. Prohibition of this plant is the likely cause of all the dread autoimmune diseases we see in the world today, including cancer, diabetes, obesity, MS and I could go on and ON and ON with a VERY long list of problems all likely caused by cannabinoid deficiency caused by prohibition of this plant. There is absolutely NO sense in that prohibition, unless it was done deliberately to kill off a large number of people over a couple of generations. Are you proud to learn you’ve probably been part of a genocidal plan? If not, FREE the plant and ALL its users from ALL forms of punishment –
– NO jail or prison, NO arrests, NO fines, PERIOD — and let my people GROW their own, without government imposed limits, just as they can grow apples and basil and carrots and corn without government imposed limits! And process their own, if they so desire, just like beer and wine can be made at home, which homemade beer and wine people tend to share (for free) with family and friends; homemade cannabis concentrates (and the growing plants and dried buds, too) should be treated, in the law, exactly the same way. STOP dragging your feet and adding all sorts of new regulations to the cannabis businesses, you are causing more problems than you are solving with all that BS! I urge you to send a copy of this to the WSLCB.

The “experiment” has been mismanaged and the care for medicinal patients has declined. We appreciate your attention to their needs, and most importantly, their losses. The slow squeeze-out of small, local businesses is a pity as well. The WSLCB has not produced a “for us, by us” type of result.
